In my 33 years in the restaurant business, the health and welfare of our customers have always been our #1 priority. JAYS2GO adheres to the strictest standards for food safety, sanitation, kitchen hygiene, and social distancing. When handling and delivering food, disposable gloves are worn at all times; cutting boards and food surfaces are washed and sanitized multiple times during the shift and safe food handling, cooking and storage procedures are rigorously followed. In the age of COVID-19, it is understandable to feel anxious and unsettled. But please know that JAYS2GO pledges to take care of you, and your loved ones. It’s a promise I’ve made to my customers for over three decades, and I intend to keep that promise. Thank you for your support, and be safe.— Jay Solomon

Greetings, friends. As many may know, last July our Owner and Chef Jay Solomon had a minor stroke (due to Afib, a previously undiagnosed heart condition). Fortunately, Jay had a healthy recovery and continued to work, exercise, and live a “normal life” since the stroke episode. However, when the doctors diagnosed the stroke they also discovered a chronic neck injury (cervical stenosis) and highly recommended surgery. Jay is listening to their words and his surgery is scheduled for Monday, November 20. The recovery time will take four to six weeks; as a result, JAYS2GO will be on a hiatus during this time. Since JAYS2GO launched in 2016, we’ve filled over 20,000 orders and prepared and delivered meals 48 weeks every year. We’re especially proud of our service during the pandemic; we masked up and ramped up our production and were a lifeline to many Denverites who were “shut in”. Thank you in advance for your understanding and support, and we hope you’ll stay with JAYS2GO when we get to the other side of this speed bump/setback. If you wish to send Jay a message, you can text him at 720-838-5297, or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org. We promise to keep you all posted.
