Creole Shrimp and Chicken Gumbo with Wild and Brown Rice (for 1)
Jay’s Creole Shrimp and Chicken Gumbo starts with a mirepoix of celery, onions, bell peppers, garlic, then we add stewed tomatoes, okra, red beans, wild and brown rice, shredded chicken, organic chicken broth, and spice it up with white and black pepper, fresh parsley, thyme, paprika, and a pinch of cayenne. We finish the gumbo with flair by adding Creole-spiced skillet shrimp at the finish. Serves (1) 16 oz. portion.
