Cajun Butter Steak, Roasted Acorn Squash, Asparagus Spears (for 1)
Cajun ‘Butter Steak’ is a regional classic; the meal begins by marinating hand-cut sirloin steaks with gluten-free soy sauce, olive oil, brown sugar, rum (or bourbon), Dijon mustard, garlic, and Cajun seasonings. The sirloin steaks are flash-grilled over an open flame and brushed with a sweet and piquant glaze (made with reserved, deglazed marinade and whipped butter). Served with roasted Acorn squash wedges and asparagus spears.
Notes: Steaks are cooked medium- rare; we recommend reheating in an oven to the desired degree of doneness.
