Chicken Pot Pie Soup with Cornmeal Buttermilk Biscuits (for 2)


It’s Comfort Food Season, people! Jay’s Chicken Pot Pie Soup is made by sauteing wintry vegetables –  celery, onions, carrots, green beans, peas, and garlic – then adding organic chicken broth, parsley, and thyme and simmering until just right. Next, shredded chicken (white and dark meat) is added along with light cream; the soup simmers more and is thickened with a roux (a butter and flour paste). While the soup simmers, we make and bake cornmeal- buttermilk biscuits – perfect for adding to your soup. Meal serves 24 ounces (for two), plus two biscuits on the side. #2022SOUPMEAL
