Martha Stewart’s Shrimp and Corn-on-the-Cob Chowder (for 2)
Inspired by Martha’s Shrimp and Corn Chowder, this hearty soup meal features a “corn broth” made from slow cooking fresh corn cobs (with carrots and celery), then combining with sauteed onions, garlic, hand-shucked corn, potatoes, paprika, and parsley. At the right moment, copious amounts of shrimp are added and simmered with the chowder, and a touch of cream and sherry are stirred in near the finish.
