Peppercorn-Rubbed Steak and Chicken Gumbo with Wild Rice (for 1)


Jay’s Peppercorn-Rubbed Steak and Chicken Gumbo starts with a mirepoix of celery, onions, bell peppers, garlic, then we add stewed tomatoes, okra, red beans, brown and wild rice, shredded chicken, and organic chicken broth, and spice up the pot with white and black pepper, parsley, thyme, paprika, and a tiny pinch of cayenne. We finish the gumbo with flair by adding grilled peppercorn spice-rubbed flank steak (diced) to the bowl.
