Vegetable Yakisoba with Sesame-Roasted Tofu, Japanese Noodles, Stir Fried Veggies (for 1)
Jay’s Vegetable Yakisoba (the classic Japanese noodle stir-fry) starts by making yakisoba sauce with gluten-free soy, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, ginger, and garlic. We stir-fry a plethora of vegetables – onions, carrots, cabbage, mushrooms, braised greens, and broccoli. The sauce is simmered with the veggies and noodles, plated, and topped with Sesame-Roasted Tofu, crumbled nori ‘seasonings’, shredded green onions, and sesame seeds.
** If yakisoba noodles can not be sourced, Japanese wheat noodles will be substituted. A corn starch slurry is used to thicken the yakisoba sauce. Lea and Perrins Worcestershire sauce contains a trace amount of anchovies.
