Madhur Jaffrey’s Chicken Tikka Masala (for 1)
Madhur Jaffrey’s Chicken Tikka Masala is a popular British adaptation of a classic Indian curry dish. Boneless chicken (white and dark meat) are marinated overnight in lemon juice, ginger, garlic, cumin, paprika, chili powder, light cream, and garam masala. Separately, a masala sauce is made with sauteed onions, ginger, garlic, turmeric, chili powder, paprika, yogurt and pulpy tomatoes. To complete the dish, the chicken tikkas are grilled, cubed, and combined with the masala sauce. Served with basmati rice and garnished with roasted cauliflower.
